Wolverhampton Beer Festival venue change

The Wolverhampton branch of the Campaign for Real Ale have today officially confirmed a venue change for their 41st beer and cider festival this June, due to regular festival venue the Wulfrun Hall being unavailable as it will be undergoing refurbishment.

A change for 2016 – Wolverhampton Beer & Cider festival at the Newhampton Arts Centre

Instead, the Newhampton Arts Centre will be hosting 2016’s event. The Newhampton Arts Centre is a wonderful Victorian building which is ran as an independent charity. Providing space for thirty resident organisations, the centre is located in a prominent position just outside the city centre on the corner of Dunkley Street and Newhampton Road East. Host to various arts and cultural events, the centre was in the news last year for staging an intimate Blur gig. Within Wolverhampton’s Artists’ Quarter, the Newhampton Arts Centre should prove an ideal location for this years festival.

The beer and cider festival opens on Thursday 9th June at 5pm running until 11pm that evening and is open from 12 midday until 11pm both Friday 10th & Saturday 11th June. Admission prices have not yet been announced.
